About Us > Strategic Plan 2012
Join us this year as we implement our New Strategic Plan!
Tough economic and political times have disproportionately impacted the women who we, at the Frontera Women’s Foundation, work to support, particularly low-income women and women along the Border. Therefore, it is even more important that we remain a strong voice for “Positive Economic & Social Change” and continue to champion their voices with solutions.
Frontera Women’s Foundation Strategic Direction
In 2011, the FWF leadership undertook an intensive strategic planning process. We thoughtfully and systematically evaluated our organizational priorities within the context of the current environment and mapped out a path for greater impact in the future. We set our sights on creating NEW programs and enhancing our current permanent Legacy for the Women & Girls of our Region:
The FWF developed a Bi-National Campaign “Ask Me About 120 Campaign”: Working in community to raise the needed dollars to continue our Mission and Strengthen our Permanent Endowments by creating Private and Public partnerships with our LOCAL Donors we we CAN meet the Needs of Women and Girls in the Border Region.
After many discussions with internal and external stakeholders -- including staff, grantees, sister organizations, scholars, philanthropic leaders and advisors -- we are happy to unveil our strategic plan for 2012.
Together we can ignite “Positive Social & Economic Change for Women, Families and Communities along the US/Mexico Border on both sides of the River.”
