Ways YOU can help the Frontera Women's Foundation

Why is your support important and necessary?

  • The primary goal of the Foundation is to build sustainable philanthropy among women for women in a region where there has been minimal history of community giving in general.
  • By contributing to the FWF, you have a unique opportunity to effectively improve the lives of women and their families.
  • Every dollar from every individual is very IMPORTANT and allows us continue our important work.
  • Our donors can target their giving; the FWF provides its donors an opportunity to assist women and their families along the border, by supporting economic and community development efforts that don't traditionally fund or target women's organizations and programs.
  • Your support not only reinvests in the women of our community, but also at the same time reaffirms your belief that these endeavors are essential in the building of healthy communities.

The Frontera Women's Foundation would like to become your philanthropic partner in building a better future for our border communities. We are here to keep you connected to the projects you choose to invest in.

When you make a gift to the Foundation you increase the impact of the gift by combining it with gifts from many others. As a donor you may designate your donation to three target areas:

  • Unrestricted Funds - may be used for general operations
  • Field of Interest Funds - target funding in a specific area of personal interest or one of our funding priorities
  • Donor Advised Funds - allows donor(s) to establish a named Endowment and/or legacy to be used in furtherance of our mission
