Title IX: No person in the United States shall, based on Gender, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.

Title IX of Education Amendments in 1972
No matter what gender you are, you are to be allowed the same rights and privileges as the people around you in your school and place of work.

FWF Title IX GOAL:  with your help, FWF will raise $200,000, for Granting to support

Community Non-Profits by September 2009.

• Girls who play sports are 50% less likely to get pregnant as their non-athletic peers!

• Playing sports makes girls and boys less likely to abuse drugs & alcohol, both of which can lead to risky decisions about sex.

• When girls participate in any physical activity, they report higher levels of self-esteem and wait longer before having sex for the first time, have it less often, and have fewer partners.

• High school athletes of both genders and all ethnicities tend to have better grades, wether it is for eligibility or just from being engaged
